Frequently Asked Questions

As a customer focussed business we aim to provide our users with timely and helpful information that is as accurate as possible. Whilst we try to provide lots of information on our website and via our Seller and Registered Buyer Dashboards we know that sometimes you will have a question that may not be answered within our pages. Between site updates we use this page to publish answers to some of the questions we are most frequently asked so we hope that you will find the answer you are looking for here. Of course, if you have any questions that are not answered here or want more information about buying or selling a property in Lanzarote please send us a message using our Contact Us page.

Registration

How do I register?

To register simply click the "Sign In / Register" link at the top right of our home page and click the "Register" tab and follow these steps:

  1. Select BUYER or SELLER account.
  2. Enter your FIRST NAME.
  3. Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS (please double check to make sure it is correct).
  4. Choose a USERNAME which will be used to access your Dashboard.
  5. Confirm that you have read and accept our Privacy Policy and Terms.
  6. Click the button to complete your registration.

We will then send you an email with your Password and a link which you will need to click to verify your email address (this helps us to ensure that all of the email addresses we store are valid and accessible by real people rather than spam-bots). Once you have verified your email address you will be able to access your Dashboard and setup your Profile and, if you are a Seller, begin adding your Properties.

I forgot my password!

It happens to the best of us. To recover your password use the "Sign In / Register" link at the top right of any of our web pages, click the "Sign In" tab, click the "Forgotten your password?" link, and follow the instructions. You can also click here to access our Forgotten Password page.

Pricing and Payments

What does it cost to use the site?

Our site will always be free of charge for Buyers and, during our launch period, is also free for Sellers to advertise their Properties. When we begin charging Sellers we will have a free tier and competitive pricing tiers suitable for a wide range of Sellers. We will contact our Sellers at least 28 days before we implement any charges and we will provide more information at that time. For now, we encourage everyone to explore our site and, if you wish, provide us with feedback and suggestions on improvements we can make.

Security

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. We use the latest database and operating system security tools on our public network and intranet systems as well as Secure Socket Layer (encryption) technologies for your connection to our website. Our website is hosted at a secure, award winning Data Centre in the UK and our developer is a Microsoft Partner with over 30 years experience in developing high traffic, secure web and database applications.

Franchise Opportunity

I want to buy a franchise.

Following our successful launch we will be offering a very limited number of people the opportunity to own a franchise covering one of the islands in the Canary Islands. Pricing for franchises will vary and we hope to launch our franchises in the first quarter of 2025. If you would like more information in the meantime please contact us.

Sellers Questions

How many Properties can I advertise?

During our launch period you are welcome to add as many Properties as you wish. However, if you want to add more than 10 we recommend that you contact us to discuss ways in which we can make adding your Properties easier.

How many photographs can I add?

During our launch period you can add as many photographs to a Property as you wish. We recommend that (for performance reasons when displaying your Property) than you don't add more than 30 and we recommend a minimum of 1 exterior photograph, 1 garden photograph, and a minimum of 1 photograph per room. Photographs should be less than 5Mb in size and in the JPG format (our server will resize the images to suit different browsers and devices so you don't need to worry about that).

What languages are supported?

Our site is available in Spanish, English, and German and our Seller Dashboard includes automatic translation buttons which use Google Translate to get you started with converting your Property Information into the languages we support. Google Translate is very good but we do recommend that you have your content checked by a native speaker if possible for improved accuracy.
